Thanks so much for taking such great care of Hope & Sophie this weekend! It's always so comforting to know when we have to go away they are in great hands.  Thought I'd share a picture of what they are doing... and probably will be doing all day after their busy weekend. ;-)

They (and we) love Club Pooche!  Thanks again!

My dog loves Club Pooche and more importantly, so do I. from the owner, Elisa, to the caring trained staff, its no wonder to me why Club Pooche was voted BEST of HOWARD COUNTY. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else.

I have two morkie's (half maltese half yorkie) and they both attend club pooch. I love everyone who works there and i know i do not have to worry about my babies when they are there. The staff is friendly and loving to the dogs. My guys are exhausted when they come home so i know they played hard and had a blast.

We can't say enough about Club Pooche! The Best of the Best! Our yellow lab, Mattie loves Club Pooche and all its staff members. She gets to spend her day with her playmates in a safe and clean facility. I would never think of leaving Mattie with anyone else! Thank you Elisa!

Fleury started at Club Pooche in the spring and it was a new beginning. We had gone to a franchise daycare and that lasted 30 minutes. The manager berated me and Fleury in a very loud voice (in front of a lobby of dogs and owners) that my dog was "not ready" for daycare. We searched the internet and came up with Club Pooche. What a gem!! This is truly a labor of love by Elisa . The group loves the dogs and everyone is like family. Recently , my husband was in the hospital , the snow storm hit , I was at work and Fleury was at CP. I was beginning to wonder how I was going to get home , walk the dog, etc when I got a text from Club Pooche. Though they planned to close a bit early what could they do to help? They kept him two nights and that helped so much. Fleury loves going there and his tail is wagging once we turn onto Red Branch Rd. It is also excellent for boarding. There are not enough superlatives to say what a great place is Club Pooche!!

Howard County's Dog Whisperer We first met Elisa, the owner, when she opened Club Pooche 26 months ago. Our goldendoodle was having issues at the time, not relating to dogs, overenthusiastic to humans, and a bit neurotic. Elisa had mentioned the underlying cause of my dog's issues to me when Dulcie first started at Club Pooche, and given suggestions to help. I didn't listen. Well, my daughter left for college, and my dog went into a blue funk, hiding behind furniture, refusing to eat, licking sores on her paws. I called Elisa because I was getting no sleep with worrying and trying unsuccessfully to help my dog. Off she went to Elisa's, and I got frequent reports, first that she was eating, then that the limp was gone, and she was playing happily with her Papillons (which she breeds). Dulcie thought she was part of their pack When I saw her next, she was a happy well adjusted dog! And like Cesar does, Elisa taught me how to better interact with her, and keep her that way! Elisa, the owner is Howard County's Dog Whisperer. And has hired only those employees with a similar rapport with dogs. These people know how dogs think and act, love them entirely, and spend the day (and night) meeting all their needs. The australian shepard who must catch and return a toy aaaalll day long gets it thrown all day long! My dog who needs to be loved on all day long gets exactly that all day long! Watching them with the dogs is like watching Cesar Millan with his pack. They sound like him as well. I have been back there when they suddenly "take charge", explaining to me afterward what they noticed, and what would have occurred had they not changed the dynamics. Rest time is in large 6+ foot high Villas, not crates. They each have a bed lined with a large puffy cushion, both of which are washed and sanitized daily as is their space. The spaces are appropriate for the size of dog, with plenty of space to move around. They are in there for their meals and for Siesta, 12-2, when they actually are all tucked in with a fresh rawhide for a good chew and nap. I know all this because the entire space is open to the owners. And for boarders, the play and loving goes on! They can sleep in their Villa or a human (down on the floor), as they prefer. They began getting the dogs out of the cars when it was cold or raining, and now do it every day. The dogs go in without a backward glance, tails wagging away. Clearly they enjoy themselves. So do the humans. This is not a francise, and is clearly a labor of love. I cannot speak more highly on what goes on here.
